Base speaker – Kion

The kion is the definition of elegance. It is an honest base construction that brings the advantages of larger speakers and can fill the room with music. It will not impress with the levels it reaches, but it can do so with its character and sound image. The design remains unique with the glass roof that reveals the crossover and the sloping front that helps the speaker diaphragms remain at an equal distance from the listener, minimizing any phase problems. It is possible to place it quite close to the rear walls without experiencing flatness in low frequencies, which is an advantage in small spaces. The speaker features an aluminum cone low and midrange driver and a titanium dome tweeter. The cabinet loading is a low-frequency reflection type with the holes located on the front side. The articulation at low frequencies is improved thanks to the cab lining with tar paper, the pronounced ribs on the inside and the ricofon type foams combined with sheep wool. Its sonic identity is very close to that of the evolution while maintaining a limited size and cost.
