The base is the speaker that inspired me to continue presenting more speaker designs. It is an honest build that brings the advantages of larger speakers and can fill the room with music. It won’t impress with the levels it reaches, but it can do so with its character and sound image. The design remains unique with the sloping back and the build quality is maintained high.
The speaker features an aluminum cone low and midrange driver and a titanium dome tweeter. The cabinet loading is of the low-frequency reflection type with the hole located on the front side to allow placement even relatively close to walls. The articulation at low frequencies is improved thanks to the cabinet lining with tar paper, ricofon type foam and sheep wool. Its sonic identity is very close to that of the evolution while maintaining a limited size and cost.
